From their early days being recognised as Port Fairy’s Folk Festival’s Matons Young Talent of the year in 2005 and top 4 Deadly’s new talent in 2004, the sisters Deline, Merindi and Naurita spent 10 years touring to national major events and Festivals across Australia. Highlights inclue performing at CIAF 2018, Tandanya Spirit Festival in South Australia and performing alongside Yothu Yindi Band at the Yarrabah Music Festival in 2018. With recent performances at Woodford Folk Festival and at The Sydney Opera House, Briscoe Sisters are back on tour and performing select Festivals across Australia bringing Kuku Yalanji language and song to audiences once again. Deline, Merindi and Naurita’s sister harmonies, trained in gospel singing from their youth, makes for an incredibe live show. Grounded in their culture and families, these sisters continue to bring great healing and empowerment through their music.
