# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Planted in the Darkness
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 25 Jan, 2026 at 10:30 am
- **Event Description**: There are so many good things about the darkness. One of them is that it’s where we are rooted and where we grow. We’ll end our month of stories about darkness by exploring these areas where darkness brings growth and expansion. What does UU theology say about darkness?

Religious Education (RE) classes are happening this week. Children are invited to come first to the worship service before RE begins after the Time for All Ages. Childcare will be available from 9:00-1:15 in the Treehouse for our youngest community members, and all ages are always welcome there during events before or after the service.

This month, we are sharing our offering plate with Black Lives of Unitarian Universalism.

The Zoom link is in our e-newsletter, our Facebook group, and our Discord group.

First Parish Malden warmly welcomes persons with disabilities to participate in its services and other events. To request accommodations or provide general disability access and inclusion recommendations, please email our administrator at admin@fpmalden.org.
