That's the magic: you move into a space as it's being vacated. It changes what's possible in your dancing. This series also settles a question that catches almost everyone off guard: entrada, sacada, or gancho — what's the difference? It feels like comparing apples to oranges, but they're closely related. A gancho travels toward the standing leg so the free leg can hook around it. Entrada and sacada both aim toward the free leg to displace it — they differ only in how deeply you enter your partner's space. An entrada, really, is a shallow sacada: the leader's leg quietly takes over the position the follower's free leg just left, without disturbing its path. And it works both ways — leader to follower, or follower to leader. We'll take the mystery out of all of it, and put forward sacadas into your dancing for real. What you'll learn:• What a sacada actually is — and why it reads as displacement• Using sacadas to travel the axis during giros• Entrada versus sacada versus gancho — finally clear• Shallow versus deep entries into your partner's space• Forward sacades from the giro, leader to follower and follower to leader• Opening up space normally taken by your partner• Timing and axis control that make sacadas feel effortlessPre-advanced level — solid with giros, sacadas' building blocks, and axis controlSingles and couples both welcomeOpen to anyone 21 and olderArgentine Tango — Pre-Advanced: Forward Sacadas · Fall 20268 weeks · 90 minutes each Sunday · In-person · Malden, MA349 Washington St, Malden, MA 021482-min walk from Oak Grove T stop · 50 parking spots on siteSundays 11:00am–12:30pmFull 8-week course — $199 · Drop in — $40Spots are limited — each person registers individually.More info: ultimatetango.com/preadvancedRegister: https://UltimateTango.as.me/Pre-Advanced-Course-Sept-Oct...https://youtu.be/1ixN65MZrO8https://youtu.be/FnZfdc7bamI - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/malden/forward-sacadas-pre-advanced-argentine-tango-class/100001995052748476 - **Event Categories**: workshops - **Slot details of has slots**: - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes - Location: Ultimate Tango New Location - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 44.52, max: 214.19, currency: USD ## Event venue details - **city**: Malden - **state**: MA - **country**: United States - **location**: Ultimate Tango New Location - **lat**: 42.439466 - **long**: -71.071432 - **full address**: Ultimate Tango New Location, 349 Washington St, Malden, United States ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Forward Sacadas - Pre-advanced Argentine Tango Class - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events4/banners/8e1d3b55298de030d6fe10306b9b4ab3261e1f7b7f9d0a3616009fca517f53c3-rimg-w1200-h799-dc080808-gmir.jpg?v=1790803089 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Forward Sacadas - Pre-advanced Argentine Tango Class being held? - **A:** Forward Sacadas - Pre-advanced Argentine Tango Class takes place on Sun, 06 Sep, 2026 at 11:00 am to Sun, 25 Oct, 2026 at 01:30 pm at Ultimate Tango New Location, 349 Washington St, Malden, United States. - **Q**: Who is organizing Forward Sacadas - Pre-advanced Argentine Tango Class? - **A:** Forward Sacadas - Pre-advanced Argentine Tango Class is organized by Ultimate Tango. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
