To move Nigerian filmmaking from inspiration to execution by equipping creators with practical skills, connecting them to industry opportunities, and building a united creative community.

Our Focus for 2026

1. Empower Creators  Train 300+ young filmmakers in no-budget production, AI tools for filmmaking, investor pitching, and global distribution.

2. Bridge Industry Gaps
Connect emerging talent directly with investors, distributors, and mentors through workshops, panels, and a live pitch room.

3. Reward Excellence 
   Recognize and award filmmakers advancing Nigerian cinema through innovation, impact, and bold storytelling.

4. Build Community 
   Create a five-day hub where filmmakers, culture custodians, and audiences collaborate across divides to foster unity and peace.

2026 Edition Highlights

Hands-On Workshops: No-budget production, AI filmmaking, investor pitching, global marketing  
Panel Discussions: Real-world pathways with active directors, funders, and distributors  

- Short Film Competition: 5–10 production groups will create films during the festival. The winning group receives the Grand Prize from our key partners  
- MACA Film Market: Direct access to equipment, software, festival waivers, and 1-on-1 meetings with investors
