(July 2 - August 16, 2026), and in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of Philippines-Japan Friendship, with the support of the ??????? ????????????? ??????????. Co-curated with ??. ???? ??? ?? ????? ???? and ????? ???????, this program also marks a significant year for both the ????????? ???????? ??????? and ????? ?????????? as they celebrate their 30th and 65th anniversaries, respectively.

RICARDO TROTA JOSE is professor emeritus in the History Department of the University of the Philippines, Diliman. He obtained his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history at U.P., and his Ph.D from the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. He specializes in military and diplomatic history, with focus on the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. He has published widely in various journals and books.
