The 5th annual Little Grassy Get Down at SIU Touch of Nature Outdoor Education Center in Makanda, IL is a family-friendly Bluegrass & Americana music festival featuring mostly original music from around the Midwest!

Options range from 3-day weekend passes to festival day passes - and kids under 15 are free with a paying adult.
Onsite lodging is only available with purchase of a weekend pass.

Touch of Nature has a variety of lodging, including Tent/Car Camping, Camp Cabins, Dorm-style & Hotel-style lodging, and drydock RV (limited spaces).
There are a number of Hotels, B&B's, Inns, Lodges, Campgrounds, and Rentals nearby if you prefer a different space.
Please note dogs are not allowed in SIU buildings, per campus policy. Service dogs are always welcome.
