Writing in Icing workshop

Do you dream of being able to pick up a piping bag and piping a beautiful personalised message on a cake or cookie? Learn how to pipe a message in royal icing...

This is a skill so many people have asked for help with and one that will take your cakes and bakes to the next level. Starting with how to make the perfect Royal icing, this is a step by step workshop to teach you all about writing in icing.

Annabelle will share lots of top tips and helpful insights. Students will receive an invaluable wipe-clean lettering template/ practice sheet to use during the workshop which will be yours to take home at the end of the session.

Includes tutorials: what is royal icing and how to make & store perfect royal icing.

How to:
- colour royal icing
- fill and hold a piping bag; different types of piping bags
- choose piping nozzles
- emboss sugar paste
- pipe straight lines, curved lines, swirls, dots
- pipe a message
- space messages; sizing
