As the seasons shift, this 60-minute sound meditation offers space for your body and nervous system to pause, settle and receive.Imagine lying back, completely supported, as layers of soothing sound gently move around you. You'll be immersed in a rich soundscape created with singing bowls, gong, swinging chimes, koshi chimes and tingsha. Weaving together harmonious sound with peaceful silences, creating space to rest without needing to do or achieve anything.No previous experience with meditation or sound baths is needed - simply come as you are, get comfortable and receive. This session is guided by the gentle, mindful and person-centered approach of the Peter Hess method, with an emphasis on safety, presence and individual experience. This special Nurture session is part of Sounding September - Sound for a Bigger Purpose initiative, a nationwide collaboration bringing Peter Hess practitioners together through sound to support children and communities in Nepal. Nepal holds a special place for sound practitioners around the world and especially those trained in Peter Hess method. Peter Hess first visited Nepal in 1984, and it was then that his encounter with the singing bowls and the tradition that inspired him to develop the Peter Hess method that it is today. Together, we are raising funds for the Boris Hess Foundation, supporting children in Betrawati, Bhaktapur and surrounding areas through education, after school care and access to warm nutritious meals.By taking this time to nurture yourself, you are also helping to nurture others. Every little contribution helps.The three 60-minute sessions are held fortnightly, allowing time between each gathering for rest, integration and embodiment.Awaken. Nourish.
