Learn so many techniques while creating this beautiful festive cupcake platter. with both fruit and sponge cupcakes.
This course has been designed with the practicalities of your Christmas preparations in mind. The design is based on a mix of fruit and sponge cakes - to cater for all tastes. The course finishes at 3.30pm so you still have time left in your day. The board is big enough if you want to add additional cupcakes. The fruit cupcakes will last beyond Christmas (well into the New Year), and you can freeze the sponge ones (we will tell you how).
You'll start with icing a cake drum board with sugarpaste and creating an inlay. Moving on, use moulds, cutters, painting on sugar, different types of icing, basic modelling, cupcake toppers, piping and so much more. You will take home not only a beautifully decorated cupcake platter but so much knowledge and newfound skills to transform your cake projects.
