Who is this for?

We welcome local businesses, residents, students and general stakeholders who would like to find out more about the electrification of transport and what this could mean for you. Could you even save money by transitioning? Could you move into this sector, learn new skills, or find out when it could be the time to make the switch?

Maidstone Drive Electric Vehicle Awareness Event

Come join us at Mid Kent College to see the world of EV for yourself. See a wide range of cars totest drive on the day, commercials for those wanting payloads and range, mobility solutions such as e-bikes, and importantly, the associated infrastructure to reduce energy costs as we move to electrification of transport across the region.

Mid Kent College have been pioneers in terms of the development of energy sustainability, showcasing on the day how they are using photo-voltaic (PV) solar energy, ground source heat pumps and air source heat pumps to power our campuses.

The event includes both outdoor and indoor exhibition space. Come and talk to local businesses showcasing their energy and EV-associated technologies.

Experts from the industry, council and college will be there to answer questions, find out more information about the local initiatives and schemes in the region.

A series of presentations will be running with speakers outlining the latest car developments, local energy plans and charging initiatives, cost-saving grants and more.
