No musical experience needed. No auditions.About this EventJust show up, open your ears, and let something unexpected happen. No musical experience needed. No auditions.A drum circle - but a drum circle with a difference. Will’s percussion workshop brings a room together to co-create a rhythmic composition from scratch. You’ll be guided first to connect and attune to each other, the space, the sounds. From there you’ll learn to access your full creative potential - building something that requires concentration, trust and surrender in equal measure. The word for what you’ll create is an ostinato - a looping pattern born from collective consciousness. It sounds technical. It isn’t. It just means listening deeply, synchronising, and giving yourself over to the meditative qualities of rhythm.Attendees have fun, laugh a lot, and find deep satisfaction in creating something together. Many say they wish to integrate this type of meditation into their regular practice.Come and find out why. What to expect:A guided [x]-hour session building a unique ensemble composition from the ground up. Connection, creativity, and something genuinely magical by the end. What not to expect:Judgement. Any prior experience being necessary. A drum circle that feels like a drum circle. Our Community RulesBy coming to Gather, you’re agreeing to move toward these. None of us will get it perfect every time. What matters is that we keep trying.🤝 Show up present. Phones away, mind in the room.🔓 Come open. Willing to try, willing to sound a bit strange.💛 Be kind. To the person next to you, to Will holding it all together, to yourself.🏠 No stage, no crowd. Everyone here is part of it - not watching it.✨ Present, not perfect. The connection matters more than the notes.🫂 This is community. Many into one. https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events10/banners/0a2d1b60-c8ff-11f1-849d-d196120da468-rimg-w1200-h600-dc385868-gmir.jpg - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/maidenhead/percussion-collaborative-composition-workshop/100002003375550200 - **Event Categories**: fitness, Workshops, health-wellness - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 - **Event Highlights**: - Age Limit: 18+ - Doors Open At: 6:45 PM - Duration: 2 hours - Location: SL6 8BT - Languages: English ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 0, currency: GBP ## Event venue details - **city**: Maidenhead - **state**: EN - **country**: United Kingdom - **location**: SL6 8BT - **lat**: 51.5218424 - **long**: -0.7106646999999999 - **full address**: SL6 8BT, The Space Studio, Maidenhead, United Kingdom ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Percussion collaborative composition workshop - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events8/banners/9b7870561fccb42d7383e9c5fe82de54ce943af2507e2c85e62249dbfa349036-rimg-w1200-h675-dc080808-gmir.jpg?v=1792113365 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Percussion collaborative composition workshop being held? - **A:** Percussion collaborative composition workshop takes place on Wed, 25 Nov, 2026 at 07:00 pm to Wed, 25 Nov, 2026 at 09:00 pm at SL6 8BT, The Space Studio, Maidenhead, United Kingdom. - **Q**: Who is organizing Percussion collaborative composition workshop? - **A:** Percussion collaborative composition workshop is organized by Gather. - **Q**: Who is this event for? No auditions. No experience required. No perfect voices rhythm needed. Just people showing up.We believe something happens when humans gather in a room under one experience. Something that's harder to find in everyday life — a sense of belonging, of being held by a group, of mattering to the people around you. That's what we're here to create.Every session is different. Every person who walks through the door brings something. And every time, without fail, something shifts. What Gather stands forWe're warm, not corporate. Human, not polished. We're not training performers — we're creating shared experiences. The point is being in it together.A few things we ask of everyone who comes:Show up present — phones away, mind in the room. Come open — willing to try, willing to sound a bit strange. Be kind — to the person next to you, to yourself. Remember there's no stage and no crowd here. You're not watching Gather. You are Gather. Many Into One." } ] } ] ```
