We are pleased to be offering 4 guided walks in Bisham Woods throughout 2019. These woods, near Maidenhead, Berkshire, are believed to be at least 500 years old but may date back much further and could have once been part of Britain’s original wildwood – a diverse, patchy, woodland habitat providing its feudal communities with timber, fuel, minerals, game and coppice rods and valuable grazing.
Join us on Sunday 6th October, 10.30 - 13:00.

Join Andrew Padmore, local fungi expert, in the Quarry Wood part of Bisham Woods. Andrew will show you how to find different types of fungi and how to identify what you've found.
If the weather has been wet and warm, we should find many varieties and have a great display.
Children welcome. Dogs are welcome too but we ask them to be kept on leads
Please meet in Grubwood Lane, at the pull-in, opposite the houses but before the entrance to the turkey farm.
