I am so sad to share with you Bruce was admitted to the hospital for a stroke on July 12th and due to complications with his cancer, subsequent strokes, and fungal meningitis he was unable to recover. Bruce passed away peacefully Monday July 28 surrounded with love by his family and friends.
Bruce and I created our series of Gallery Hangs on the first Saturday of the month when we opened the new Gallery in April where we would just be "hanging" with art and people all day in the gallery on designated Saturdays. We were so excited to have a place to create and share Bruce's Art right here on the scenic Mighty Mississippi the Great River Road in Maiden Rock, WI.
Bruce loved every day of the 3 months of being able to walk down to the gallery and paint, hang out with friends, artists, fans, strangers and share his creations and music. It was one of his happy places.
I want to still have the Gallery open for you all to come see the light and beauty he brought out in our world. To be surrounded by the vibrant colors and inspired paintings is comforting and joyful and you can feel the presence of Bruce here. Please come by and sit for a while with me and celebrate Bruce's life on these sweet Saturdays in August.
