State Sanatorium Historical Presentation & Museum Tour

Magee Historian, Jean Allen, will be your guide through the fascinating history of the Mississippi State Sanatorium. Located at the Boswell Regional Center at 1049 Simpson Hwy 149 just north of Magee, this beautiful campus was once the home the State Tuberculosis Sanatorium and Children's Health Preventorium. The starting time will be 10:00 AM. After the historical talk at the Dining Hall, participants will be given a tour of the Sanatorium Museum. This is a free event presented by the Simpson County Historical & Genealogical Society.
