- **Event Description**: If you’ve been considering learning how to work with pigs properly, this is the final opportunity to join our upcoming Pig Husbandry Workshop.
At Wickedfood Earth Farm, we teach pig husbandry as a complete responsibility — from outdoor systems and animal wellbeing, through to harvesting, butchery and turning the carcass into food.
Over two days, participants are introduced to:
– ethical, outdoor pig systems
– reading pig behaviour and designing around it
– the theory and practice of home slaughter
– hands-on pig butchery and sausage making
The workshop is intentionally small, allowing time for observation, discussion and careful, practical learning.
This is not a course for everyone. It’s for people who believe that how animals live — and how they are harvested matters.

Where: Wickedfood Earth Farm, Hekpoort, Gauteng.
Workshop Cost: R3 990pp for both days or R2 500pp per day, including tea/coffee and lunch on both days.
