The trail follows an old mountain path along the ridge, with open landscapes, granite formations, pine forests, and wide views over the valleys and peaks around Navacerrada.It is a moderate hike, suitable for people with a reasonable level of fitness. There are some uphill sections and rocky areas, but nothing too technical. The route is especially nice in spring and autumn, when temperatures are cooler and the scenery is at its best.Along the way, hikers can enjoy panoramic views of peaks such as La Maliciosa and Bola del Mundo.
