Join us for a weekend intensive with Kira Kirsch, where we will investigate the relationship between the body and gravity through principles of biomechanics, alignment, and elastic rebound. Using the Axis Syllabus approach, we will explore the body's ability to absorb and return energy efficiently, expanding our dynamic potential in dance and contact improvisation.

🟪 What is the Axis Syllabus?
The Axis Syllabus is a movement study system that integrates anatomy, biomechanics, and pedagogy to optimize efficiency and safety in movement. Through this approach, we learn to move more organically and sustainably, exploring the body as a dynamic system in constant adaptation.
🟣 About Kira Kirsch
Kira is a movement artist, researcher, and international educator with over 20 years of experience teaching the Axis Syllabus. She has fostered dance research communities in Berlin, Brussels, and San Francisco, and has been invited to festivals and professional dance centers around the world. Her work is enriched by diverse influences, including biodynamic craniosacral therapy, Contact Improvisation, and movement ecology.
