Este taller nace de mi fascinación por cómo los sentidos, la estructura y la materialidad del cuerpo se entrelazan con el pensamiento y la imaginación.

Partiremos del Material for the Spine de Steve Paxton y de las exploraciones perceptivas de Lisa Nelson (Tuning Scores) como terreno fértil. Estas herramientas nos servirán de base para profundizar en cómo conocemos —y desconocemos— a través del cuerpo, estableciendo un diálogo físico con los demás en la danza Contact Improvisación.

Para mí, la danza siempre tiene algo de queer y de extraño; es un proceso de cuerpos en evolución con la curiosidad necesaria para entregarse tanto a lo familiar como a lo incierto, habitando las preguntas y enigmas que surgen durante la exploración.

Los encuentros combinarán la parte más concreta y física del cuerpo con el misterio de movernos, pensar y soñar al mismo tiempo. Alternaremos información práctica y mapas anatómicos con partituras (scores) que abren un espacio para la experiencia expandida, el cuestionamiento, el juego y, por supuesto… la danza.
