Crises have historically followed cyclical patterns in economic history. However, these cycles are now accelerating, with shorter intervals between major events.
Join a roundtable featuring Alberto Lavín, Adjunct Professor of Strategy at IE University, and Carmelo Mazza, Director of OIA Services LTD & Cultore della materia at Luiss Guido Carli University, both authors of Boards Under Crisis, alongside Board experts Eva Ballesté, Exec. Advisor & Board of Directors Member. PhD in Finance, and Francisco Segovia, Chief Financial Officer & Supervisory Board Member at Airbus Military.
They will discuss the main decision-making patterns of behavior that characterized the management processes of Boards of Directors during the financial crash, and compare them with responses during the COVID-19 pandemic and the onset of the Ukraine war.
In doing so, they ask, is this a new crisis or just the "new normal" that businesses and organizations need to face after major catastrophic events?
