UNION SOLDIER STATUE DEDICATION & UNVEILING CEREMONY

AT 1:00 P.M. ON FRIDAY NOVEMBER 7, 2025, all Veterans and the community-at-large are invited to the dedication and unveiling ceremony of the new 16-feet-tall bronze Union statue that will be installed on the northwest lawn of the Old Hopkins County Courthouse. This will be a historical dedication ceremony to help kick off the Veterans Day weekend! Gov. Andy Beshear will be our special guest. Local and state elected officials will also be on hand. The KY Sons of Union Veterans from Elizabethtown, KY will be donning their Union soldier uniforms. Song performances by the MNHHS Chorus. For more information, call (270) 836-9097.
