Intro to Crochet

Learn the basics from Dorothy Bailey: making a chain (chain stitch), single crochet, slip stitch, and double crochet----all the basics that are needed for granny squares and more advanced stitches!

Participants are encouraged to bring your own yarn and hook (especially if you bought supplies for a project but never got started) but materials will also be provided for the complete novice to practice. There will also be yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks for sale in the Creative Reuse area.

This is limited to 10 attendees on a first come basis. We can not sell a free event on Bigcartel.com, so MESSAGE THE MAKERSPACE TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT.

Also, anyone that is more advanced and just wants to hang out and work on a project is welcome----cushy seats are available in side seating area!
