Become a scientist for a day! Join Youth Volunteers for Conservation (YV4C), the Wisconsin DNR, and UW Extension for a Statewide, one-day scavenger hunt to protect our local lakes and rivers.

Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) threaten wildlife, ruin recreation, and damage habitats by degrading water quality, choking out native fish habitats, hindering boating, and impacting public health. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) and UW Extension have created this single-day blitz to map the presence of AIS across Wisconsin's watersheds to create a critical "snapshot" of ecosystem health.
