Half Marathon & 5K Run
The Wisconsin Lakeside Half Marathon & 5K combines running, Craft Beer, and live music into one fantastic event. It is designed for groups, individuals, and serious competitors. The event includes a Half-Marathon and a 5K Run. The Finish Line Festival features free ciders, beer (21+), live music, and food for purchase.
The Half-Marathon course follows paved paths and tree-covered streets along the shores of beautiful Lake Monona, which provides cooler temperatures throughout 75% of the course. Runners will view the stunning skyline of Madison, WI, and run under the Frank Lloyd Wright Monona Terrace.
All participants will receive an official Wisco Half & 5K race shirt, a cool finisher medal, and free entry into the Finish Line Festival.
The Monona Chili Cook-Off will also share the park in 2026. So your friends and family will be able to enjoy some great chili samples later in the morning.
The Rockin Brews Marathon is a Boston Marathon Qualifier. The Marathon & Half-Marathon are USATF Certified Courses.
