Summer Board Game League 2025

Looking for a summer of board games, competition, and fun? Join us for Roll Play’s Summer Board Game League! Starting June 3rd, we will be hosting nearly weekly board game tournaments. Sign up for individual tournaments, or for the entire league in order to accumulate points and win grand prizes!

Dates:

June 3: Catan

June 10: Sagrada

June 17: No tournament

June 24: Carcassonne

July 1: No tournament

July 8: Ticket to Ride

July 15: 7 Wonders

July 22: Splendor

July 29: Photosynthesis

Aug 5: Wingspan

How it Works:

1. Sign up for the game you would like to play or register for the entire league
2. Earn Meep Points based on tournament placement
3. Meep Points will accumulate throughout the summer
4. You do not have to attend each game, but will only earn Meep Points for tournaments you attend!

Pricing and Prizes:

$10 / game + eventbrite fees

OR

$56 entire league + eventbrite fees

Prize Pool: $5 for prize pool from individual participants $4 for prize pool from league participants

Two ways to win prizes:

1. Place per tournament and win the prize pool day-of.
2. Those at the top of the Meep point leaderboard will win additional prizes on the last day of the league!

• Individual tournaments (Prize pool split)
• League First Place: $75 RP Gift Card + board game
• League 2nd Place: $50 RP Gift Card
• League 3rd Place: $30 RP Gift Card

More Information:

• Please arrive 20 mins before start time if you would like us to teach you the game before the tournament.
• Players do not have to show up for every tournament. However, players will not score Meep Points if they are absent.
• Each tournament will be 2 rounds of games.
• Players will score points based on their placement at the end of the night.
• At the end of the night players will score Meep Points based on ranking as follows:
• • 1st = 8 meeps
  • 2nd = 7 meeps
  • 3rd = 6 meeps
  • 4th = 5 meeps
  • 5th = 4 meeps
  • 6th = 3 meeps
  • 7th = 2 meeps
  • 8th and below = 1 meep
• Ties will result in the higher placed score, vacating however many next ranks. (i.e. 2 players tied for 2nd, they both score 7 meeps, there will be no 3rd ranked player)
• Champion will be crowned at the last tournament after scoring final meep points.
• If there is a tie for first place at the last event, they will play a game of Pop-Up Pirate to determine the winner.
