Slow looking at different scales of magnification, we will explore textile thinking and open-ended approaches to creative research in the archive: enlivening errors, abrasion, edges and fray, loss areas, etymologies, and omissions.Excerpts from writers and artists including Emily Dickinson, Sonya Clark, Stephanie Syjuko, Danielle Vogel, Sadiya Hartman, Tiya Miles, and Susan Howe’s Spontaneous Particulars: The Telepathy of Archives (2014).
