Your retreat includes a walkable Airbnb stay, brunch and dinner each day, and all sewing supplies provided beyond a few essentials. Just bring a sewing machine capable of zigzag stitch, a denim or heavy duty needle, and extra bobbins, and we will handle the rest. The retreat is $895 per person, and it is the perfect mix of creativity, connection, and rest. Come recharge, create, and leave with handmade pieces and memories you will treasure.

Join us at Little Golden Fox for an unforgettable 3 night, 4 day creative retreat in beautiful Madison, Indiana, taught by Bethany McCue of Craft With Bethany. Rugs and Mugs is designed to be beginner friendly while still skill enhancing, welcoming everyone from brand new sewists to seasoned stitchers who want a fun weekend to create and connect.

Retreat Highlights:
     • Main Project: Create your very own Jelly Roll Rug, a practical and adorable project that will boost your confidence and leave you with a finished piece you will use all the time.
     • Pottery Experience: Paint a pottery mug piece during our pottery class, the perfect companion to your new mug rug.
     • Free Sew Time: Bring your personal sewing projects and enjoy dedicated free sew time each evening in our cozy creative space.

Your Retreat Includes:

     • Comfortable Lodging: 3 nights and 4 days of Airbnb accommodations within walking distance of Little Golden Fox in beautiful Madison, Indiana.
     • Delicious Meals: Enjoy brunch and dinner each day, pre planned and prepared by our host Cara Fox of Little Golden Fox.
     • Supplies for Projects: All essential materials for your Jelly Roll Rug are provided, along with all other sewing items for the retreat projects.
     • Pottery Experience: A pottery painting class where you will paint a pottery mug piece to pair perfectly with your new mug rug.
     • Swag Bag: Full of sewing themed goodies you will love.
     • Personalized Instruction: Hands on teaching and support from Bethany McCue of Craft With Bethany throughout the retreat.

What You’ll Need to Bring:

     • A sewing machine that can do a zigzag stitch (plus your power cord and foot pedal)

     • Basic sewing supplies: scissors, thread snips, pins or clips, seam ripper, small ruler or measuring tape, marking pen/pencil, and any favorite tools you always reach for

     • Thread + extra needles (it’s always nice to have backups)

     • Any personal projects you’d like to work on during free sew time (fabric, patterns, notions, etc.)
