- **Event Description**: Please join us on Sunday, July 19, 6:00–8:00 pm, when Noliwe Alexander will lead our regular Sunday evening sit at First Unitarian. Following our meditation, she'll offer a Dhamma talk. 

Noliwe will have just concluded teaching our weekend retreat and has kindly offered to share her teaching with the wider sangha. Retreat participants are of course warmly encouraged to attend, and for those who aren't able to attend the retreat, this will be an opportunity to benefit from Noliwe's teaching.

Noliwe has practiced Vipassana meditation for more than 25 years and has taught retreats, daylongs, sitting groups, and classes. She dedicates her teaching to BiPOC, LGBTQIA+, at-risk, and elder communities. She is a graduate of Spirit Rock's Community Dharma Leaders and Teacher Training programs, as well as the East Bay Meditation Center's Commit 2 Dharma program.
