---> Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) volunteers are excited to host their first musical instrument "petting zoo" in partnership with the Hawthorne Neighborhood Association's Make Music Madison Day. It's happening at Hawthorne Elementary School's outdoor gazebo, located at 3344 Concord Avenue.

---> Our volunteers are musicians who will talk about, demonstrate, and guide kids who want to try various instruments—ranging from drums and electric guitars to strings, woodwinds, and brass!

Helping kids play music, no matter their circumstances, is MAMA's mission. We'd love to see a lifelong interest in music develop because of this "petting zoo" opportunity.

NOTE: This musical instrument "petting zoo" is free, fun, and part of Hawthorne's afternoon of live music from noon to 4 pm.
