The "Are you Experienced" album was released May 12, 1967 and made a lasting impression on me...   In 1999, I became a finalist in the Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition and performed in the finals at B.B. Kings Club in Memphis TN. along with about 18 others from all over the the United States.  Our show at the Red Rooster will cover a lot of Jimi's well known and obscure songs.
