Fully Operational: Optometri with Darth Presley

No longer content to merely rock transhemispherically, our friends Optometri have formed a transgalactic alliance with Darth Presley. Witness this hitsoric moment of sonic wonderment at the Harmony Bar on May the 31st.

Russian rockers Optometri were a favorite of music scene cognoscenti in the '00s after the band took up residency in the Madison area upon becoming stranded in the United States. Sing-along hits such as “We Will Bury You” and “Love is Not a Potato” promise a magical performance of maximum upliftingness to combat the excessive downsinkingness of these times. (Note: Resemblance of Optometri to members of Theramones, Hirt Alpert, Yid Vicious and other Madison bands is only your imagination.)

Darth Presley wanted to Rock in the worst way, so he exposed himself to a lethal dose of radiation while listening to “King Creole.” Now he has mastered Rock! But at what cost?
Now accompanied only by his pet Snickerdoodle Clambake and those itinerant musicians too psychotic or mutated to care about random fissioning, he wanders the globe seeking to expose new audiences to his apocryphal sounds!
