Join Naturalist Paul Noeldner and Friends of UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve for a free family friendly guided walk or take a healthy nature walk any day in December. We will visit some of the favorite places people love at the Preserve.  Dress warm.  We may have hot chocolate and a campfire after the walk.  You may want to prepare for the walk by viewing a Virtual Tour of the Lakeshore Nature Preserve at http://FriendsLakeshorePreserve.com.  Enjoy meeting some Friends of the Lakeshore Nature Preserve and learn about their favorite places and volunteer activities!  What are the special places you like to visit?  Join the Friends group to help support this beautiful natural area in the heart of Madison and the UW Campus that provides nature education and healthy nature recreation enjoyment for UW students and the public. Would you like to volunteer in some way?  Remember to stay on trails and do not collect anything in the Preserve.  See the Friends website for more info about the Preserve, Friends activities, and volunteer opportunities. Free, welcoming, healthy, family and kid friendly, fairly accessable, educational, no registration required, no pets.  Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.  Fourth Sunday every month Bird and Nature Adventures at the UW Lakeshore Nature Preserve are co-sponsored by Madison FUN partners Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, Wild Ones and Friends of the Lakeshore Nature Preserve.
