The Home of Alt-Country Soul

When we started Emmettvile, it was just when people found new acoustic music on the radio and TV. The best of Country, Folk and Rock. I had been playing in rock and soul bands, which I liked, but there was something that people found in Americana. From Jackson Browne to Rosanne Cash.

So I jumped in and started writing songs. Then we recorded our first album, Down Home Town, in 1996. It was mixed at Smart Studios. Then we went back to Smart to record Unincorporated in 2000, and I really found my true voce.

We have a great group of amazing players, and most of then are still playing with us.

We love to see people enjoy the songs, and we see the smiles on their faces.
