We make hand pies at Bierock every day.
So it only makes sense that we celebrate Pi Day on 3.14.
That’s right, math nerds unite on Saturday March 14, 2026.
Featured this particular day will be a trio of sweet dessert bierocks.
We’ll have the debut of our Lemon Custard Pie bierock and the return of our Blueberry Pie bierock, both with a streusel topping and vanilla lemon icing on top.
Of course, we’ll also have our Caramel Apple Pie bierocks. All of them are wrapped inside our freshly-baked bread dough.
As a precursor to Pi Day, we’re offering our Cottage Pie bierock while supplies last beginning on Tuesday March 11. If you’ve heard of Shepherd’s Pie, this is similar.
Instead of lamb, our Cottage Pie bierock is stuffed with ground beef along with mashed potatoes, peas, carrots, onions and seasoning.
As for drinks, we'll have shots of the famous Travis Haase Apple Pie and Cherry Pie liqueurs available.
So join us for Pi Day at Bierock. Doors open and sales start at 11:00 a.m.
In the evening, we’ll have live music from D.P. Knudten. Things get underway at 8:00 p.m.
It’s not easy to put a label on D.P. Knudten. Described as “an outstanding contemporary singer/songwriter in the truest sense of the word,” Knudten crafts and performs songs written from his own slightly skewed point-of-view.
Citing such influences as James Taylor, John Gorka, and Lyle Lovett “but without the Texas thing,” Knudten’s songwriting showcases characters and situations to which many can relate.
There is no cover charge associated with the music but tips are appreciated.
Bierock’s full food and beer menu will still be available the day of the event.
Located at 2911 N. Sherman Ave., Bierock is part of the Northside TownCenter and across the street from Warner Park.
