Johnny Gates, the true rockstar with a beautiful hoarse voice, is a singer/songwriter originally from Rhode Island, that is able to generate infectious energy in his performances. Now based in Nashville, Gates is the founder of East Music Row Records, the culturally diverse movement of the modern non-traditonal Nashville-based artist. East Music Row seeks to cultivate community for this generation’s widely eclectic music creators coming out of Music City, and also better serve the modern music consumer, who tune-in not for genre or style - but for quality and authenticity of music.
