- **Event Description**: Bundle up for a cool science adventure! Young archaeologists will learn about some of the ancient objects that have been trapped and preserved in ice and discover how scientists study the past in frozen places like glaciers and mountains. The STEM experience will offer children to experiment with a few substances to safely thaw their icy discoveries, recording and observing which methods melt ice faster and why. Along the way, kids will practice making predictions, testing ideas, and thinking like real scientists and archaeologists. 

This program is intended for those heading into Grades 2-5. Located in the Children's Program Room.
