Figure incontournable de la scène jazz française (ONJ, Archie Shepp, Henri Texier, Daniel Humair, Anne Paceo, Daniel Zimmermann, Joce Mienniel, Sébastien Texier, Raphael Imbert...) et nommé deuxième meilleur guitariste français par Jazz Magazine en 2024, Pierre Durand présente son nouvel album : « The End & The Beginning », nommé aux Victoires du Jazz 2024.
Avec cette nouvelle formation, il propose une lecture jazz du genre pop-rock.
Influencé entre autres par David Bowie, Yelawolf ou Miles Davis, Pierre Durand « Electric » 4tet se place au milieu d’un pont entre 3 rives : du jazz il prend le goût de l’improvisation, de la pop le soin porté au lyrisme et aux compositions, du rock l’énergie.
