- **Event Description**: Discover the joy of painting in watercolor in this 6-week class with Jenn Morris. Students will learn foundational techniques while creating bright, summer-themed art in a relaxing, encouraging environment. Connect with other creative people as you learn with live demonstrations and individual support. At the end of class, you'll have the confidence and skills to continue creating your own watercolor art at home. You'll also take home six paintings you completed throughout the course. No prior drawing or painting experience required.

At end the end of this class, you'll know how to:
-Balance water and paint to achieve consistency
-Make the most of different brush shapes
-Embrace the unpredictability of wet-on-wet techniques
-Control your edges
-Create texture using everyday items
-Use expressive brushwork
-Find your own painting style

The cost is $210 for non-members, $170 for members, and includes all materials. Meets Wednesdays, 6:30-8:30 pm, starting July 8. The class will not meet July 29, and will meet Friday, July 31, instead.

About the instructor
Jenn Morris has loved arts and crafts her entire life and learned painting basics from her artist grandfather at a very young age. While her grandfather specialized in oil painting, Jenn's favorite medium is watercolor. She has been practicing for several years and enjoys sharing it with others.
