This clinic is designed for green horses in the early stages of their ridden journey — and for riders who want to lay a strong, thoughtful foundation. Whether your horse is freshly started or just beginning to work under saddle, this is where we build the basics that matter most.
It’s a natural follow-on from our "From the Ground up - Young & Green Horse Clinic, but it also open to any horse and rider ready to take the next step in their Horsemanship journey. We focus on creating softness, clarity, and confidence — helping both horse and human feel supported as they grow together.

🟡 What We’ll Cover
This clinic focuses on building a thoughtful, soft foundation for horses in the early stages of their ridden journey. Topics include:
- 🐴 Willingly guiding and moving forward under saddle
- 🛑 Developing a reliable safety stop
- 🧠 Introducing soft feel in the bridle, bosal, halter, or preferred headgear
- 🔄 Beginning lateral aids and understanding body language
- 💬 Building trust, clarity, and communication between horse and rider
- 🌿 Creating a calm, focused learning environment for both horse and human
These skills are the building blocks of a confident, connected partnership — whether your horse is freshly started or just beginning to work under saddle.
🏇 Limited to 10 Riding Positions (5 per group)
💰 Ticket Price: $440 for one horse/rider combo please book online $100 deposit reserves your position.
🍽️ All-Inclusive: Morning Tea, refreshments, Lunch
🏕️ Stable/Yarding and Camping. If you are planning on staying over Friday and Sunday evening either camp or stable you will need to purchase additional stable and camp tickets.
🥪 Fence-Sitters: $44 per day (includes lunch and morning tea) purchase one or two tickets if you plan on attending the entire clinic- Please pre-book online
