This workshop is for beginner and emerging artists looking for practical techniques and advice on their first exhibition, or for arts workers needing a refresher on best practices.Each participant will see the behind-the-scenes of hanging an exhibition, along with logistical elements including packing, crating and transporting artworks. Individuals will gain direct experience handling artworks and a better understanding of the various contexts and parties involved when artworks travel.Edward Niznik is an experienced installation technician and artist who has worked with various art galleries and museums, including Queensland Art Gallery / Gallery of Modern Art and the Museum of Brisbane. Edward holds a Masters Degree in Fine and Studio Arts from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Fine Art from Queensland College of Art, GriAith University.
