Rope Basket Workshop

Join us for a hands-on Rope Basket Workshop 🎨🧺
In this workshop participants will work together to create a community rope basket. Through instruction and demonstration, the group will learn methods of wrapping the rope with fabrics, machine sewing the bowls, and finishing techniques to individualize the end product. Participants can choose to participate directly or simply learn by observing. All supplies needed will be provided and a sewing machine will be shared. Folks are welcome to bring lightweight cotton fabrics.

All skill levels are welcome
Your registration helps the Machias Arts Council offer more community arts experiences in theater, visual arts, and music. Materials are provided; just bring your curiosity and a friend.
