- **Event Description**: In the fall we gather oregano, parsley, thyme, basil and many other herbs to use in winter meals to stay healthy and keep our meals fully flavored.
Edible flowers are at their peak!  So, we gather those for teas and to add to special desserts throughout the holiday season.  
Learning to dry various herbs and edible flowers will ensure we can reap their benefits all year round.  

Tea making... this is a technique that we share for health.  We take the edible flowers and medicinal herbs that are dried in our gardens and add them into teas and tinctures to use in times of need.  Chamomile for sleep, rose hips for inflammation and pain.
Drying comfrey for poultices... mint for muscle and joints... the many benefits are discussed in the workshop.

Each guest will take home a bouquet of the fall herbs and edible flowers to preserve and enjoy at home.
