- **Event Description**: Our Blended Paediatric First Aid course is a 12 hour course comprising of 6 hours e-learning and 6 hours in person training. This course is ideal for early years practitioners working with children aged 0-5 years. It meets the requirements of OFSTED for registered settings. The course includes getting help safely in an emergency, roles and responsibilities of a first aider, infection control, first aid kits, assessing our casualties, the recovery position, CPR, choking, drowning, shock, allergies and anaphylaxis, bites and stings, wounds and bleeding, suspected spinal injuries, breaks/fractures, head injuries, common childhood conditions and injuries such as asthma and diabetes, seizures/epilepsy, extremes of temperature, burns, poisoning and accident reporting. Upon successful completion of the course you will be issued with a Paediatric First Aid certificate that is valid for 3 years. E-learning codes will be sent 8 weeks before your course or upon booking. We will meet in person for a 1 day class. Classes are non-refundable.
