Duke Ellington - Selections from The Best of the Sacred Concerts
Conservatorium Maastricht presents a very special collaboration of all its departments. At the initiative of classical solo singing teacher Yvonne Schiffelers, Ellington's Sacred Concert was suggested as a chance to form a choir with students from the classical, jazz, and music in education departments. Marking the 50th anniversary of Ellington’s passing, this performance is the first of hopefully many cross-department events.
