Let's celebrate their achievements and kick off Postdoc Appreciation Week 2026 with a networking hike in the beautiful Bavarian Alpine Foreland!Join Aleksandra and Janica, Proteintech's Field Marketing Representatives in Munich, for a scenic hike near lake Ammer. Enjoy breathtaking views while connecting with fellow life scientists, exchanging experiences, and expanding your scientific network.DepartureFor the joint departure to Herrsching, we will meet at 9:10 AM at Platform 2, Section A at Munich Central Station. The S8 train departs at 9:24 AM, so please arrive on time and have your ticket ready*. If you would like to join the group from a later station, please let Janica (janica.wendt@ptglab.com) or Aleksandra (aleksandra.kurova@med.lmu.de) know.Please come prepared with suitable clothing and shoes, and enough water and snacks for the day.The hikeStarting in Herrsching, we will embark on a 10 km networking hike (250 m elevation gain, easy-moderate) through the beautiful Lake Ammer region**. Along the way, interactive activities will help participants connect, discover shared scientific interests, and reflect on their career paths.The hike includes:Networking with fellow life scientistsInformation about Proteintech’s resources for researchersFree picnic & goodies sponsored by ProteintechReturnWe plan to return to Munich Central Station by approximately 4:00 PM.*We are looking forward to hiking with you!
