- **Event Description**: This beginners’ Hatha yoga class will focus entirely on Sun Salutation, or Surya Namaskar, a foundational flowing sequence of yoga poses practiced in succession to energise, strengthen and align the body.

The Sun Salutation flow, or Vinyasa, synchronises breath with movement to improve flexibility, cardiovascular health, and mental focus.

Sun Salutation provides a full-body workout that focuses on forward folds, planks and inversions. Each movement is co-ordinated with an inhale or exhale, promoting mindfulness and a ‘moving meditation’ experience.

Join us for a step-by-step guide, in person, to performing Sun Salutation: this is the perfect opportunity to try this beautiful flow for the first time!

All classes are for beginners and take place at Crescent Yoga Studio at St Anne’s Tennis Club FY8 2QH. The yoga studio is fully equipped so you don’t need to bring anything with you, unless you prefer to use your own mat and blanket etc. 

- Tuesday evening 1.5-hour classes cost £10.
- Thursday evening 1-hour classes cost £8.
- Saturday morning regular yoga 1.5-hour classes cost £10.
- Special Event Saturday morning and Sunday evening classes cost £25.
