- **Event Description**: We are kicking off the official riding season by riding Route 66 from just outside Chicago to Dwight, IL during the Red Carpet Corridor festival! 2026 also happens to mark the 100th year that this historic road was officially designated as Route 66.

Our plan is to meet at the Ottawa Trail Woods - North parking lot at 7369 Joliet Rd, Lyons, IL and travel south along Route 66 to meet up with the Central IL Vulcan Riders for lunch in Dwight, IL. We will then head back north and wrap up with some ice cream at Walt's Ice Cream in Joliet.

Final details such as exact meeting time, KSU, and lunch location will be determined the weekend before the ride. Please RSVP ASAP if you plan to go so we can get a head count for lunch.

Guests are always welcome to join us but will be required to sign a waiver.
