Originally developed in 2004, Project Visibility shares the experiences of “Rainbow Elders” (LGBTQ+ adults age 50+) and explores the challenges many have faced in accessing inclusive care and services. The updated 2023 version features individuals living in Boulder County and surrounding areas, offering personal stories and perspectives on identity, community, and aging.

The film touches on themes including coming out, family, discrimination, history, and the evolving language and understanding of LGBTQ+ experiences. Following the screening, participants are invited to stay for a facilitated conversation.

This program is presented in partnership with the Boulder County Area Agency on Aging.
