Originaire d'Osaka au Japon, HYPER GAL est un duo composé de l'artiste visuelle Koharu Ishida au chant et de l'artiste noise Kurumi Kadoya à la batterie. Ce duo minimaliste produit un impact maximal, dépouillant la musique jusqu'à l'essentiel pour
créer une pop no wave scintillante à partir d'une batterie explosive, de boucles de clavier étincelantes et de voix éthérées, le tout agrémenté de velours et de pétards.
