Elderwind is an atmospheric black metal band founded in 2009. Initially, the project was a studio-only endeavor, and it wasn’t until 2019 that Elderwind transitioned into a full-fledged live band, ready for concerts. Their music blends powerful, melodic guitar riffs with symphonic arrangements and natural motifs, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and unity with nature. Elderwind's lyrics often explore themes of nature, solitude, and philosophical reflections on life. Their debut album, "The Magic of Nature" (2012), received positive reviews among atmospheric black metal fans. Elderwind is known for its soft, melancholic style and deep immersion in melody, setting them apart from other artists in the genre.

Influenced by bands such as Caladan Brood, Elderwind, Saor and Gallowbraid, Cân Bardd was founded in 2016 as a one-man project by Malo Civelli from Switzerland, with the purpose of creating an outlet for his feelings and ideas that would be at once heavy and aggressive, yet also melodic and atmospheric.
