Mells Foxhounds Fall Hunter Pace

Open to riders of all ages, riding disciplines, and riding levels. Ride a 3-5 mile course over beautiful hunt country. The objective is to ride as close to ideal hunting pace as possible. Two different speeds (1st Flight is faster, 2nd Flight is slower). Jumping is optional in all divisions. Jumps up to 3’3”, many smaller, and are typical natural obstacles found in hunt country. Teams start at 8:00 am, 1 - 5 minutes apart, so you are not “racing” against a field. Any riding attire, but ribbons for best turned out in hunt attire. All riders must wear a helmet when mounted. Negative Coggins must be presented at gate. Liability Release required. All junior riders must have liability release signed by parent or guardian.
